Rose and Saints

it was 2 days before we got our area book back.

after calling everyone in it and writing down meticulous notes of when everyone comes back from vacation, I became very glad that there were so many gone... work has come out of nowhere. 2 quick miracle stories:

I met Rose on the train. she said that she does actually believe in god but religion is just not her thing. and she never has time because she always works at the hospital... except for starting tomorrow when she's on 'vacation' at home. 'I guess each person has their thing, their religion;' she said. I paused, reflected, and then said, you know, as a musician, I have been to so many different chruches and I always find myself coming back to this one. there is something... I feel something there that is only there.

that's about as far as i got before her expression changed. I want to meet with you. she said. can we exchange numbers?

I called her that night, but she wouldnt be available until next week.

saturday morning, she texted me. 'actually, I am available today.' we met her in a park an hour later. I told her very simply about what I do as a missionary. about a program to learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ that she can take or leave. about prayer. about God. she accepted everything. wants to start to pray.

and then came to church at 9am for all three hours!!!! she got the numbers of sisters in the ward and is even coming with the Relief SOciety to get ice cream on friday. when everyone introduced themselves to her at church, she said, soeur wilson is helping me discover this. but i'll see you next sunday. YEAY!!!!

Saint Gilles is from Guadaloupe. she took the missionary lessons there and went to church for a while there. after having a dream with a white lady (looks like me) giving her an airfrance ticket to Paris, she came over. but there was no church, no one had heard of the church of Jesus Christ. after a few months, she had to move to a hotel. after praying, she found the very cheapest one in St Ouen. happens to be very close to the church. in the bus home, she saw 4 elders coming on the bus. What's the address for the church?

We just met her yesterday. I know all the commandments! I want to get baptized! we made a beautiful calendar with everything organized to get ready for her baptism on August 29th.

''Maybe I'm supposed to tell someone about the church here in Paris. Maybe that's why I moved here, even if I don't have a n apartment right now.''

There are miracles all over here in france! and pablo's getting baptized this saturday!!! love you all, thanks for your prayers,

Sister Wilson
