Saturday afternoon it was again our alotted time at the exposition. So sister Lee and I went into Paris after playing soccer at Porte de Pantin and visiting Lydie Andani. I got out my violin as usual and started to play hymns, old favorites and new requests. One lady stopped in just to say thankyou for the music, it had fed her soul today. I started to play, Amazing Grace that she could hum along to and she felt the Spirit of God. couples on dates came in just to see what it was. and then Elder and Sister Stover came in with their guitars to see if we could put together Ashokan Farewell. a group of Chinese crowded into the exposition to listen. there were people there non-stop, and we again PRed. 26 in one hour. much better than the usual 3 or 4. How much fun we had.
just a little suivi on daniele for you:
Daniele met up with us in the Park again and I was able to introduce the Book of Mormon to her. I had dedicated it and marked a few favorites. We showed her a chapter to read, and she said, 'and after that chapter?' I told her to just continue reading, the power in the book will confirm its truthfulness. She promptly took out the book in her purse for metro rides and put in her new copy of the Book of Mormon. As she couldn't make it to stake conference this week in Versailles, she said to warn the people in our ward that there might be someone new joining the ranks. I smiled and said I would.
Thanks Jess for your email!!!!! i love you and Palo Alto people very much! Soeur Wilson
