During church, I was sitting with Ovoh, a member girl I have been working with. She commented on the missionary stories shared in Testimony meeting and pointed out to me how easy it is sometimes to share the gospel. Just saying what religion you are opens crazy doors to wonderful experiences.!
After the baptism just two hours later, she contacted someone reading a sign for English class on the door of the Church! She invited her in to come in talk to me. Christine is a party. She said that she’s off to sing in her Gospel Choir but she’d love to learn English a little more and would like to know what the Church is all about.
Yes, we can help you. I'll sing gospel with you!and teach you about the Gospel of God.
another one just to fall in your lap.
missionary work seems so easy sometimes. people want to know the Truth.
One night, we stopped off at a members house, who unfortunately couldn’t teach with us. As we were leaving, rain started to POUR down. She was an angel to lend us a huge sturdy umbrella that really saved the day. We sang as loudly as we could as we walked around deserted rainy St. Ouen to deliver a Liahona and to teach Mary-Charlotte. Singing in the Rain, My Heavenly Father Loves Me, Raindrops on Roses, the Paris Mission song, Be Our Guest… with plenty of splashing for accompaniment. I love Paris.
I'll have to save all the other miracle stories for another day. Love you all, and Jo and Jen your emails meant the world to me this week!
