Fitgerald is a gangsta'. 20, a huge diamond stud in each ear, a few more piercings and two metal necklaces with his african heritage charms showing off. He wears big bright blue high-tops, low riding jeans held up by a metal belt, and a hoody. ooh, and big headphones. topped off with a doorag and a big, flat-visored baseball cap.

we had our first rendezvous two weeks ago (after the weeks of calling as I told you) when he said he might like to be baptized. but then he couldn't see us for a week or two, and he works on Sundays. but he called us. "hey, soeurs, eu, i was just calling, cuz, starting Sunday, you're gonna see me at church. eu, ya. just talked to my boss, and i can start later each sunday. ya. " YES! I think we told his story to every ami who is Not coming to church to show them what can be done if you really have the desire. We got a moment to meet with him, and told him that we were preparing a baptismal service on June 13th. Do you want to prepare to be baptised then? ya. sure.

He showed up at church in great style. complete black tux without the suitcoat, complete with silver stripes and buttoned vest... left the baseball cap, but kept the headphones and the studs. oh we were so happy.

I've never been happier. It just keeps getting better and better. can you imagine!
