The last two nights I have laid in my bed, just as Jane and I did many christmas eves ago, so excited that I couldn't sleep after coming home late after our two missionary christmas concerts. There has been so much overflowing joy in my life lately that I can hardly contain it. Christmas of Lights, full of joy, of hope, of redemption, of compassion, of love.
Priscilla's husband was at our rendezvous this week and insisted on picking up a pizza for us. "Priscilla told me you probably would want no meat-- vegetarian?" great! he left us so we had a few minutes with Priscilla alone.
She told us that she was reading on line about a Member who was talking about the Word of Wisdom and had plenty of questions. that's where the meat question came from.
about a month ago, Priscilla realized that she had headaches when she didn't have her coffee in the morning. so, she thought it was time to give it up. She told her family last christmas that she wasn't going to drink wine with them-- she talked of the opposition to her decisions, but how she had overcome it all. wow. but by that time, Neil was back.
yes, he is scientologist, but he started asking questions. What do you guys think about the trinity? what is repentance? and after death? ...
well, we answered all the questions, but didn't get to teach priscilla anymore. She turned to her husband and said "i'm shocked. I didn't know that you had those kind of quesitons!" "I'm just curious, that's all!"
All of the concerts went so well. there weren't any dry eyes in the audience. I could not be more grateful to my Heavenly Father for giving me gifts that make me so happy. et tout brillait, tout resonnait, tout annoncait, Jésus est né! On entend encore chanter: Alléluia!
Merry Christmas All. I know Christ lives. let us all take His hand and follow the hem of his garment with faith.
