just some news...

Sunday was my last sunday in St Ouen. 4 investigators were at church. I performed Dr Anderson's arrangement of Oh My Father to which I wrote a violin part. This is really MY ward. Little Hugo who was baptised a few days (btw, lots of investigators there!)ago cried from my song until a half hour after church was over at my leaving. I have never given so much in my life as I have given to them. how bittersweet.

I was almost expecting President to call me for the transfer news as I didn't feel settled with any of the options(he only calls if the circumstance is weird. the assistants call the trainers). and call me he did. 'I know I had told you you'd go to Versailles, but I wanted to give you a head's up...' it seems every other transfer that he 'gives me a heads up' for a special circumstance.

I am whitewashing the elders of Melun and opening a Soeur equipe there. There were previously 4 elders in the ward, and all are being pulled out. and just sisters :) yeay.! It is as far away as you can get from Paris while staying on the RER. some people tell me that it's in the 'campagne' and super far away, and others say, oh, that's still the Paris Banlieu ! we could come visit you.

I will be companions with sister Brough who has accompanied me on the violin for the last few concerts. So this might be a music transfer. wow. en plus- I've always thought that I'd like to open an equipe. what a great challenge! I'm taking the Défi! can't wait! It is one thing I haven't done yet. we will be on fire! next missive from Melun, love
